SES Families, please take the time to read through this post in its entirety!
Halloween parties at SES are this Thursday from 2:15 PM-3:15 PM! All adults/guardians entering the school for the party MUST have a license to gain their school pass in our license background system at the front office. DO NOT park in the elementary gym drive. That area is restricted during school hours. You may park in the EL and MS parking lots.
Room parents may enter at 1:45 PM. This provides our room parents time to get their activities set up for the party!
SES tradition is to hold a costume parade immediately before parties. If any parents would like to observe this parade, please arrive and be checked-in by 1:50 PM. The parade will begin promptly at 2:00 PM. Parents (not the main room helper) will be allowed to enter classrooms immediately following the parade, at 2:15 PM. Students cannot wear their costumes to school for the entire day! Please send your student's costume with them in their backpack, and they will be allowed to change right before the parade. Any student who arrives at school in their costume will be required to change.
Only one parent or guardian is allowed to enter with each student. No siblings will be permitted.
Parents are not allowed to wear scary or inappropriate costumes during the party. This has been an issue in previous years.
Last thing! We would like to remind parents/guardians that student costumes cannot have full face paint, weapon props, and/or blood. Please also remember that your student must be able to get into and out of his their costume for independent restroom use during the allotted time they are wearing them.
Thank you, and have a wonderful week, Cardinals!
