The SHS art room has been a busy ceramics studio lately! Students are all at different stages in their projects. Some are working on coil pots, others are glazing their pinch pots that were bisque fired earlier this week. Brook and Izzy are glazing their very well made pinch pots! We can’t wait to see how they turn out.

Hey, Cardinals! The Steelville R-3 School District is considering options for providing summer meals to local children ages 18 and under through the Summer Food Service Program. In addition to the free meals our students receive during summer school, we have the option of providing non-congregate meals (bagged meals that children or parents would pick up and take home to eat) when school is not in session. Funding for this program is based on the number of meals served, which means that, in order to operate outside of summer school, we need to gauge community interest. Please complete this form ASAP to help us determine the best time to operate this SFSP program for our community. Thank you for your help!
