Steelville Schools care about our students. We offer a Friday Backpack Program that sends home weekend food bags to students each week to help families ensure basic needs are met, even on days when school is not in session. When students' bodies are cared for, their brains can focus on learning and growing—that's what success looks like for us. If you are interested in this program, don't hesitate to get in touch with any of the building counselors.
> Our district currently serves around 120 students, K-12
> Almost entirely donation-funded
> Student groups often help pack bags
> Vetted by the local alumni with a bachelor’s in health science to ensure nutritional quality
All donations or questions can be directed to Samantha Miller or the building counselors!
